our
approach
At PSA, students pursue a personalized, technology-based education with hands-on mentorship, supervision, and instruction. In this flexible yet structured environment, students complete their schoolwork on a schedule that complements their training and competition.
Working for
your child's future
Over the past 15 years, our curriculum partner has mastered the “blended model” of web-based and in-person education. We supplement their course content with classroom teachers who work one-on-one with students to provide the individual attention they need, whenever and wherever they need it. Students work together with our academic advisor to determine when, what, and how much they will study throughout the year to create their unique pathway to graduation.
This student-centric, blended learning model allows students from anywhere in the country to “attend” PSA. Local and distance students can come to school in Park City and take school with them anywhere in the country or world. Enrollment is not limited by geography, performance schedule, or passion.
Although the blended method of education is already used at top teaching institutions, PSA’s combination of year-round programming, one-on-one mentorship, and access to Olympic training facilities is unique. When students choose the time, place, path, and pace of learning, they can maximize their performance potential without compromising their academic future.
Picabo Street Academy offers course curricula that meet and exceed national, state, common core, and NCAA regulatory standards.

Finally, PSA gave my son the freedom to schedule his time himself. He chose the terms, and this helped him to stick to them. He skied a ton and worked hard, all year, and was happy doing it. Thank you!"
